Udaipur is well connected to air, train and buses.

By Air: - if you are planning to visit by air then it would be great as Maharana Pratap international Airport is near to Udaipur city.

By Train: - you can also go by train as Udaipur city railway station is also near.

Best Season to visit Udaipur

If you are planning to visit Udaipur, then winter is the most wonderful season to visit which is from September to march. These all are the pictures of winter season.

How many days we need to spend in Udaipur

As per my personal experience two days are enough to explore Udaipur as local transport is very good in this city. You can easily take auto, cab and taxi if you don’t have your personal vehicle. It would be much better if you will hire cab or taxi for full day.   

Best Places to visit in Udaipur

Now come to the main point which is the best places in Udaipur. Following is the places which you must visit in Udaipur.

1. City Palace of udaipur

     City palace is very huge palace situated in east bank of Lakh Pichola. The history of city palace is very interesting. If you are history lover, then this is the best place to visit in Udaipur.  According to my personal experience you must have to hire guide which will show you all important area of this palace and you will get so many places to take selfie.

2. Jagdish Temple

Jagdish temple is situated near city palace. It is built by Maharaja Jagat Singh. This temple is very beautiful and decorated by ornate carvings.

3. Fateh Sagar Lake

Fateh Sagar lake is situated at north west of Udaipur. It is one of the artificial and beautiful lake in Udaipur. You can boat at fateh sagar lake. You can enjoy the street food surrounding the lake. You can also enjoy camel riding at fateh sagar lake. 

4. Monsoon Palace

Monsoon palace or Sajjan Garh Palace is situated at the top hill of Udaipur. The view of Udaipur is very beautiful from this palace. Everybody must visit this palace. It is also known for the best sunset poing in udaipur.

5. Karni mata Temple

We can reach karni mata temple by ropeway. Its top view is amazing. If you are nature lover you will enjoy the view of udaipur from this place.

There are so many other places also to visit in udaipur which are eklingji Temple (Photography not allowed in this temple), Jag Mandir, Lake Pichola etc.
