By Road: - Amritsar is located on G.T Road which is a National Highway 1. So it is well connected to local transport like bus, car etc.

By Train: - Amritsar Junction Railway station is located in Amritsar. So we can also reach Amritsar by train.

By Air: - if you are planning to come by air then the nearest airport is Shri Guru Ram Das Jee International airport. It located approx. 11km far from Amritsar City.

Winter is the best season to visit Amritsar as weather is pleasant in this season and we can easily visit this city.

I have visited in the month of October 2015 and weather was pleasant for sightseeing.

Harmandir Sahib Gurudwara

Harmandir sahib (shri Darbar Sahib) gurudwara is also known as Golden Temple. It is the centre of attraction in Amritsar which you can’t miss. The gurudwara is surrounded by the holy sarover where you can take bath. You can take the langar in gurudwara. Every day more than one lakh devotee take langar in gurudwara. The best time to visit gurudwara is early morning approx. 4 am.

Patriotic feelings come in to the mind when I think about the Wagah border. We enjoyed a lot there. I strongly recommend to the tourist to visit this place. It is road-crossing border between Pakistan and India. Daily the soldiers of both county perform lowering of the flag ceremony. It was so amazing.

If you are foody and really want to have the best punjabi food then must visit Kesar Da Dhaba at Amristar and have their Punjabi Thali. i really loved that food.

The other places which you can visit in Amritsar are Jalinanwala Bagh, Akal Takht, Maharana Ranjit Singh Museum, Ram Bagh etc.

As per my personal experience two days are enough to explore Udaipur as local transport is very good in this city. You can easily take auto, cab and taxi if you don’t have your personal vehicle. It would be much better if you will hire cab or taxi for full day.

Now come to the main point which is the best places in Udaipur. Following is the places which you must visit in Udaipur.

1. City Palace of udaipur

     City palace is very huge palace situated in east bank of Lakh Pichola. The history of city palace is very interesting. If you are history lover, then this is the best place to visit in Udaipur.  According to my personal experience you must have to hire guide which will show you all important area of this palace and you will get so many places to take selfie.

2. Jagdish Temple

Jagdish temple is situated near city palace. It is built by Maharaja Jagat Singh. This temple is very beautiful and decorated by ornate carvings.

3. Fateh Sagar Lake

Fateh Sagar lake is situated at north west of Udaipur. It is one of the artificial and beautiful lake in Udaipur. You can boat at fateh sagar lake. You can enjoy the street food surrounding the lake. You can also enjoy camel riding at fateh sagar lake. 

4. Monsoon Palace

Monsoon palace or Sajjan Garh Palace is situated at the top hill of Udaipur. The view of Udaipur is very beautiful from this palace. Everybody must visit this palace. It is also known for the best sunset poing in udaipur.

5. Karni mata Temple

We can reach karni mata temple by ropeway. Its top view is amazing. If you are nature lover you will enjoy the view of udaipur from this place.
